My name is Crystal Rodgers, and I am an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. I attended the Animal Behavior College, and studied under Dawn Watson of Brother of the Wolf, LLC. I am also certified in Canine Body Language Interpretation, Shelter Dog Training, and Grooming and Pet Sitting.
I have always had a love for dogs, and don’t think there was ever a time in my life that I didn’t have one. Today I have Knox, a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier, Lito, a 7-year-old Hound/Pit mix, and Stella, a 3-month-old Boxer/Pit mix. I never owned a Bully breed before these dogs, and I don’t think I will ever NOT have a Bully in my life after them. They are such a strong, loyal, and loving breed, and it pains me to see the light they are cast in recently. Along with being a trainer, I am also an advocate for the fair treatment of all Bully breeds.
I practice positive reinforcement training methods because I believe they show much better results, and I think it creates a much better relationship between you and your dog. If you start training your dog as a puppy with these methods, it is very easy to set up a life of success for your dog.
It makes them very happy, stable dogs, which in turn makes your life a lot easier.
