Curriculum – What You’ll Learn

Our cat training program is made up of 11 stages. The course covers everything from the history of cats, basic care, behaviour modification principles and how to apply them to feline behavioural challenges, as well as socialization methods and much more. Also included in this program is a hands-on component in which you will complete 25 hours of volunteering to assist cats at an animal shelter, rescue organization or humane society near you.

  • Stage 2 – Learning Theories and the Feline Mind
  • Stage 3 – Cat Training Tools, Behaviour Modification Products & Essential Cat Care Items
  • Stage 4 – Preventing Unwanted Behaviours
  • Stage 5 – Basic Cat Training
  • Stage 6 – Cat Behaviour Management and Treatment
  • Stage 7 – Cat Nutrition and Basic Care
  • Stage 8 – Safety Concerns, Techniques & Practices
  • Stage 9 – Business Building
  • Stage 10 – Shelter Experience and Pet CPR & First Aid Certificate
  • Stage 11 – Final Exam & Graduation
