Military Spouse Benefits

U.S. Military Spouses may qualify for Free Tuition!

Are you a military spouse? Do you love animals? Enroll in Animal Behavior College today. ABC is an approved school for the Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA). As an eligible military spouse, you can receive up to $4,000.00 to cover your ABC tuition costs.

Tuition costs include hands-on training and all materials for course completion and certification.

  • Dog Trainer Program

    $3,730.33 ($3,655.33 + $75.00*)

  • Veterinary Assistant Program

    $3600.85 ($3,525.85 + $75.00*)

*$75.00 fee is a non-refundable registration and application fee paid by student.

What is MyCAA?

MyCAA offers military spouses of active-duty members financial assistance to cover education and training courses necessary for a portable career. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, the scholarship covers tuition costs for licenses, certificates, and certifications.

What does MyCAA provide?

  • Up to $4,000.00
  • Spouse counseling to assist with career planning

Who can apply for MyCAA?

Spouses of active-duty members of the Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines. This military education benefit is also available to spouses of active reserve members in pay grades E1 – E5, W1 – W2 and O1 – O2.

For reference, E=Enlisted, W=Warrant Office (a specialty officer) and O=Officer.

Spouses of National Guard or Reserve members in a Warning Orders/Alert, Post Deployment/Mobilization or Transition status are not eligible. If the military sponsor is in the National Guard and/or an AGR (Active Guard Reserve) member, the military sponsor must be on Federal Title 10 Active Duty orders as reported in DEERS.

What this MyCAA Benefit Means for You

MyCAA covers your tuition costs at ABC for the following programs: Dog Trainer and Veterinary Assistant. As an eligible military spouse, you can study at home and receive real work experience at no cost to you.
