Learn gentle grooming skills! ABC’s multi-sensory Certified Pet Grooming Program provides a strong foundation of the essential techniques, methods and gentle grooming behaviors that will protect the pet being groomed and create a more relaxed grooming experience overall.
The ABC Pet Groomer Program is extensive and includes 150 hours of hands-on training with an ABC-approved professional groomer. - Stage 6 – Bathing, Brushing, and Drying
- Stage 7 – Clipper Use and Scissor Control Techniques
- Stage 8 – Breed Profiles and Mixed-Breed Styling
- Stage 9 – Building a Pet Grooming Career
- Stage 10 – Hands-On Externship and Pet CPR & First Aid Certificate
- Stage 11 – Final Exam & Graduation
