After years of being known by families and friends as the other “dog whisperer” I chose to undertake formal education and training to hone my skills. I have a Bachelors' degree from the University of Wisconsin in Psychology and Post Graduate Courses in Social Work. My academic background was the foundation for working with families who needed to learn how to develop positive behavioral support plans for persons with developmental delays. Helping families in various capacities had been my life's work and now serves as the cornerstone for working with you to create a powerful and loving connection with the pet in your family.
My passion and drive is in providing you with the training and information necessary for your dogs to be good companions .
I am fluent in American Sign Language so I can provide classes to families who are deaf or hard of hearing. I use positive reward training methods and offer a variety of services (pet sitting and dog walking, home visits in addition to private and group obedience classes) My company is Paws for Purpose and Play LLC I am the CEO and principal trainer I screen and train each staff person to ensure your pet has consistent caring support. I continue to keep abreast of training techniques and equipment , participating in professional workshops and memberships to ensure you have the best solutions for your situation.
