Krystian Howe

Dog Training – Sumter, South Carolina 29152

Each dog and family are unique, and I believe that through education, canine body language, positive reinforcement, and management; each dog can stay home.

Hope, Opportunity, Willingness, and Education is what HOWE Dog Training is all about. I am a balanced trainer that focuses on using humane training methods focusing on using and encouraging education through positive reinforcement and simplicity.

I do not use pinch, prong, and shock collars. I only use martingales, easy walk harness, standard harness, and standard collars, with a variety lengths of leather or nylon leashes as long as the dog accepts the item.

I do not alpha roll, dominate, or consider myself the leader of “the pack”. I keep up to date with current data and science and update my techniques with positive reinforcement. I enroll in seminars and courses to continue learning about current methods of humane and positive training. My methods take time and patience and love but are well worth the effort. I coach the human and dog through daily challenges as a team.

There are no alphas/dominants in my packs/family, only partners in a team. The submissive ones, we raise their confidence through team building exercises to become one of the pack/family. I want training to be fun daily routine, instead of a dreaded chore.

I want everyone to enjoy working with their dog again and start building relationships through positive reinforcement training. Training can be a fun game for dogs and their families, and problem behaviors can disappear!

My goal is to teach families (and rescues and foster families) the skills to train their own dog(s) so they can stay in their forever homes.

My mission is to keep dogs in their forever homes through simple positive training exercises that can be taught by their rescue volunteers, foster families, or forever families.

I am working on becoming certified in Service dog training, canine nutrition, and Canine Behavior to finish my canine education. I have further studied in problem behaviors and canine anxiety and have gone on to have several certificates to work well with rescue dogs that have trouble adjusting to family life.

Will train dogs for local rescues in the surrounding areas at discount pricing.
Dogs that are used to help train for classes( college credits) -rescue only- will not be charged for training done during the course work done for the classwork during that time period.

Please visit my site to see my certificates and follow my work. Pricing can be found on my Facebook website and can/will be subject to change as my education and experience increases.
