Call Us Today!

Does your dog need to brush up on manners?

Do you have a new puppy who requires training or socialization?

Is your dog exhibiting unwanted behaviors, such as excessive barking, house-training issues, jumping or separation anxiety?

Even the most well-behaved dogs sometimes need a bit of help learning to function in our human culture.

Whether it’s basic obedience training or complex behavioral issues, Michelle Panek can help you and your best friend, using positive training methods that are completely force-free.

About the Trainer:
Michelle Panek is a certified professional dog trainer, having graduated from Animal Behavior College with Honors. She also studied Genetics, Zoology and Psychology, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (with Distinction). She has worked with various humane societies and rescue organizations in Colorado and California, helping to make dogs more adoptable through training and behavior modification. She is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).

A Message From Michelle:
“I believe that as pet owners, it’s important that we are caring stewards for the animals that share and enrich our lives. Maybe you’ve seen or read about certain questionable training methods on TV or in a famous dog training book, or even had them recommended to you by a trainer you’ve hired.

There is never a need to resort to physical punishment or to force your dog to obey. I know from personal experience that it’s possible to successfully treat issues such as aggression, separation anxiety, barking, jumping and general unruly behavior with the application of totally force-free methods.

If you prefer an “on the same team” relationship with your best friend, rather than an adversarial one, I can guide you toward that goal.

Through the use of positive reinforcement techniques and compassionate behavior management, your dog will learn more efficiently, be happier and gain confidence. As a result, your dog will choose to offer a behavior that you desire – because it’s fun to do so!

The wonderful bond between you will be strengthened in this way, and you’ll enjoy seeing your best friend blossom.”
