Los Angeles, February 1, 2011 – Animal Behavior College (ABC) announced it has added a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking course to their continuing education program roster. The course marks the 3rd in ABC’s Continuing Education Programs (CEP’s) and is the first to be available to graduates of all 3 of ABC’s programs. Written by Wendy Wilson, former Editor of Bow Tie Publications and published author, the Pet Sitting/Dog Walking CEP will teach students the ins and outs of owning this burgeoning pet industry business; one of the fastest growing home-based businesses according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics.

“Steven Appelbaum, President of ABC says, ““This CEP is unique both in its appeal to all of our students and also because it allows pet professionals the chance to stand out from the competition and increase their bottom line while continuing to help animals and the people who love them. The demand for our CEP's has been so great that we are developing additional ones for launch later this year and next.”

ABC’s Pet Sitting & Dog Walking CEP is available to all of their graduates on line and includes such topics as how to properly work with and care for a variety of different kinds of pets. Topics range from identifying and understanding body language, canine, feline and avian behavior, basic nutrition, creating mental and physical stimulation, personal and home owner safety, creating and maintaining schedules. It also focuses on business building techniques such as marketing, insurance and building clientele. This course is designed to give graduates the skills to offer this service to their client base.

Animal Behavior College is a highly innovative vocational school for animal lovers looking to pursue and succeed in animal careers.
