I graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's in Animal Science, then completed my dog training certification through Animal Behavior College. I've had the honor of working alongside mentors with vast knowledge, and I attend dog behavior & training conferences every chance I get. For the last several years I've trained dogs at the Champaign County Humane Society, first as a volunteer, and then for the last four and a half years as the Animal Behavior Specialist and Volunteer Coordinator. The dogs, volunteers, and clients have taught me so much. I've recently resigned from the shelter and will continue my relationship with the organization as a volunteer.
I also have a strong background in customer service and firmly believe that all people should be treated with respect. My teaching style reflects this and I am often described as a 'people person'. My goal is to set my clients and their dogs up for success, and then cheer on those successes and share in their joy.
When it comes to dog behavior my first priority is the safety and well-being of all people and animals involved. The next priority? Get results as fast as possible all while having fun! I value your time and your success with your dog is important to me.
